A former colonial residence on the edge of town, well within walking distance of the market, this simple and elegant hotel is very much in touch with the Kalaw aesthetic. The accommodation itself is in spacious twin-bedded bungalows, combining woods and neutral colours, with private verandas.

The restaurant serves a selection of Western, Chinese, Indian cuisine as well as local Burmese fare, often on a large outside terrace overlooking the lawns. There is also a small bar attached to the restaurant and a pleasant lounge area in the atmospheric main building.
