A sister property of the Inle Princess, the Mrauk U Princess Resort is the “”luxury”” option for your Mrauk U & Sittwe sightseeing. Surrounded by magnigicent views of the blue mountain ranges, Mrauk U River and rice paddies, the resort offers a fantastic scenic base.

With 21 rooms inspired by the traditions and culture of the Rakhine people, the village house style used throughout the resorts offers guests large (somewhat empty) rooms with a suite style consisting of living room, bedroom area and balcony. The resort also features a restaurant, bar, library and a decent spa. You can also pick up a mountain bike at the front desk to explore the stunning surroundings.
Whilst the resort is one of the more expensive options, the location certainly can’t be beaten and with few choices around this is definitely the best bet for your Rakhine adventure. The resort is closed July to August.
