Day 1
Depart on a flight to Yangon from the UK (departures can also be arranged for any other locations).
Day 2
Arrive in Yangon, Burma's former capital. Transfer to your hotel. After some time at leisure at your hotel, depart for a walking tour of downtown Yangon. Visit the major colonial sights, stopping for a break at a popular local teashop before finishing your tour at Scott’s Market. Enjoy dinner this evening at The Strand.
Day 3
Morning flight to Bagan. Half day tour of Bagan with visits to temples, local craft villages and, after some time at leisure, a horse-cart ride back to the temples to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Day 4
Depart for a 5 night cruise from Bagan to Mandalay (all meals are included on the cruise). Enjoy some afternoon sightseeing in Bagan.
Day 5
Cruise along the Irrawaddy River, taking in the beautiful scenery as your travel North. Evening stop at Shwe Pyi Thar Village where you can explore on foot. Enjoy an evening puppet show after dinner.
Day 6
This morning reach Yandabo, a riverside village specialising in pot making. The village is also the site where the peace treaty was signed in 1826 to end the first Anglo-Burmese war.
Day 7
This morning transfer to Monywa, a typical Burmese town on the banks of the Chindwin River, visit Po Win Taung. Spend time exploring the caves before continuing to the fascinating site of Shwe Ba Taung. Visit the monasteries and temples carved out of the rocky cliffs.
Day 8
Arrival in Mandalay. Visit Mingun and the ancient cities of Ava and Amarapura before finishing at U Bein bridge for sunset.
Day 9
Disembark your cruise and fly to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake. Enjoy a stroll around the lakeside villages in the afternoon.
Day 10
Enjoy a full day sightseeing around Inle Lake by private boat. Visit the morning market, pass floating villages, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and break for lunch with a short cooking class at a local home. In the afternoon return to your hotel to relax or continue to explore with visits to local craft factories.
Day 11
Day trip to Sagar, a lesser visited region yet one of the most beautiful places in the Shan State. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure at your hotel.
Day 12
Flight back to Yangon. After some time at leisure at your hotel, depart for a half day city tour of Yangon finishing at the most revered Buddisht temple in Burma; the Shwedagon Pagoda.
Day 13
Morning at leisure in Yangon before transferring to the airport for your departing flight.

Spend time exploring the wonders of life on Inle Lake before returning to Yangon to end your stay, culminating in a visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered Buddhist monument in the country.
