Day 1
Depart on your flight to Mandalay.
Day 2
Arrive to Mandalay & transfer to your hotel by private driver. Spend the afternoon on a sightseeing tour of the city with your guide - visit Mandalay Hill, Mahamuni Pagoda & U Bein Bridge.
Day 3
Early morning transfer for your flight to Bagan. Full day tour of the archaeological zone with sunset from one of the tallest pagodas.
Day 4
(Optional) dawn champagne balloon ride over the pagodas of Bagan. A full day at leisure in / around Bagan or take a guided tour to the local market, visit some craft workshops and spend the afternoon cruising along the Irrawaddy River.
Day 5
Transfer to the airport for the short flight to Heho & continue on to Inle Lake. Tour the lake by private motorboat to visit the floating gardens and stilted villages.
Day 6
Morning flight to Yangon & full day city tour - take a ride on the circle train, explore the markets and enjoy a walking tour to admire the colonial architecture in downtown Yangon
Day 7
Depart back home today - for late flights enjoy the day at leisure to explore the city further, take a ferry to Dhala or enjoy a picnic in Kandwagyi Park

This itinerary will give you a great overview of the main sights of this fascinating country. You will start your journey in Mandalay where you will have the opportunity to explore the city immortalised  by Kipling, visit the ancient capitals, and witness a beautiful sunset on Mandalay Hill.  Your next stop will be Bagan which rivals Siem Reap for the amount of temples dotted about the landscape. You also have the option to take a dawn balloon flight over the temples- an experience you will never forget.

Another flight to He Ho- gateway to Inle Lake, which must rate as one of the most picturesque areas in Asia. Enjoy relaxing at your hotel and take a boat trip where you will see the iconic fishermen who have taught themselves to row with one leg. You finish your journey in Yangon where you can mingle with the locals on the circular railway before ending the day at the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda which changes colour  as the sunsets.

This is itinerary is a  quick 1 week jaunt around the main sights – Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake. Ideal for those a little tight on time or wanting to do add on a relaxing beach break at the end.
